KARMAN WAKE SIMULATIONS


Karman modes observation through numerical simulations. These simulations are performed with FREEFEM++. I use a penalisation method to simulate the obstacle in a an air flow coming from left. Note that these calculations are only preliminary. This work is a collaboration with Didier Bresch (LMA - Grenoble) and Iulian Cotoi (Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal). Movies are compressed with MPEG.
